Long-time proponents for environmental protection, regeneration, and sustainability, and following the lead of other Rotary Clubs around the world, members of the Rotary Club of St. Thomas East took steps in March to start the process of renaming the club - the Rotary Club of St.Thomas East ECO.
Newly and proudly rebranded, with a revised charter dated May 6, 2020, as a Rotary Eco Club, we pledge the following;
(2) Club-wide support to the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group—ESRAG.
(3) To educate ourselves, our Interact Club, and our community on practical ways to live more sustainably and promote planetary health.
(4) To partner with like-minded organizations and help develop solutions to reduce carbon emissions in the Virgin Islands.
(5) To continue our strong legacy of giving to The Rotary Foundation, seeking out partner clubs who share our excitement and enthusiasm for the newly formed 7th Area of Focus ... “supporting the Environment.”
