The Rotary Club of STT East ECO had a wonderful time representing Red Hook Thrift Shop at the My Brother's Workshop MBW Merry Market on November 29th, 2025! 
Come visit us on Fridays and Saturdays from 10am - 4pm to discover unique treasures, support the community, and help keep items out of the landfill.

On Saturday November 29th, the Rotary Club of St. Thomas East ECO set up a booth at MBW's first ever Merry Market. The event features local artisan craft vendors, photos with Santa, and an arts and crafts stations for kids to decorate ornaments, write letter to Santa, and more. The Red Hook Thrift Shop had a booth at the event which featured gently-used or as we like to say pre-loved items including children's clothing, toys, books, and Christmas decorations. Additionally we offered handmade items crafted by some of our own Rotary members including Christmas wreaths and gift bows made from up-cycled magazines. During the event we handed out brochures for the Red Hook Thrift Shop to spread the word about our various environmental and community projects.
We were also happy to participate in an event hosted by My Brother's Workshop, an organization dedicated to providing vocational training for at-risk youth in our community. As said on their website "MBW's holistic approach to providing vocational training and workforce development includes mentoring, education, mental health counseling, on the job training and job placement in carpentry, construction, electrical, plumbing, CAD/CAM programing, heavy equipment, marine repair and rebuild, culinary arts and customer service." Our Rotary club has supported MBW on many projects both currently and in the past and were excited to attend this event for a great cause.
